   SoutheastK9 is  family owned and operated, right down to our 9 year old daughter.  We are located in the Reno, Nevada area.  We recently moved here from Florida.  Sean has been in law enforcement over ten years.  He is currently working with a K9 partner and has for the past 6 years.  He was first introduced to the Shepherd breed when a friend of ours invited us to a Schutzhund trial.  We imported our first dog about 6 months after that and have not stopped since.  We have trained several Shepherds with the help of some very experienced wonderful friends. (Thanks Mike & Emie) We love the German Shepherd breed.  We have found them to be highly intelegent, dedicated to their owner, protective, very loveable  and quite humorous at times.  

   The Litters that we produce will come only from titled parents/ certified Police K9, with proven working abilities and temperament. Our dogs are not just beautiful; they are also of sound character and part of our Family. We have been working with European German Lines for about 12 years. We began selectively breeding about eight years ago and are very excited with our new breeding prospects.  We do not breed our dogs just to sell puppies.  At times we have only one Litter a year, sometimes less than that.  We selectively breed and will only let our puppies go to approved homes.  I'm happy to say that I would like to be adopted by some of the families our pups have gone to :)  

   We ocassionally have older dogs available and have some wonderful friends to refer anyone interested in importing a dog.
